[PS] 自制彩虹/Create a rainbow

Today we are going to add a rainbow to this photo.

To begin with, choose the gradient tool, in gradient editor, choose "transparent rainbow" and linear gradient.

Add a new layer and fill the layer from left to right.

Filter > Distort > Shear

In the pop-up panel, adjust the shape of the rainbow. After finish, click "OK".

Press "Ctrl + T" to change the size of the rainbow and move it to a suitable position.

Add a layer mask.

Choose the gradient tool again, in the gradient editor, choose the "Black, White" color.

Apply it to the rainbow layer. After that, set the blending mode to "Screen" and opacity to 50% for better merge of the rainbow and the sky.

Copy the rainbow layer. In the copied layer, change the blending mode to normal and opacity to 15% to make small change to the rainbow color.

Finish.

元朗大棠紅葉之旅

踏入秋冬，楓香樹的綠葉會因氣溫下降而轉化爲紅色。每年的11月到12月，很多人選擇到元朗大棠郊野公園欣賞紅葉。若市民想乘坐公共交通工具前往大棠郊野公園，可以先乘搭西鐵到朗坪站，再乘坐港鐵巴士K66 在總站下車。

下車後沿著上山的方向一直走，約十來分鐘的腳程便到達大棠郊野公園的入口。

往楓香林的指示牌就在不遠處。

先要走一小段梯級。筆者保證，這數十梯級已是整個旅程最辛苦的一段路。

走畢梯級，頓有豁然開朗之感。圖片所見，大棠郊野公園佔地甚廣，郊遊設施充足，更附設停車處，因此吸引眾多人仕在假日前來郊遊、燒烤或帶同寵物前來遊玩。

 郊區火警訊號 - 提醒郊遊人仕不要留下火種和小心山火。

途經大棠自然教育徑的入口。

沿途偶爾看見遊人騎自行車上山。

不消30分鐘，筆者已到達目的地 - 楓香林。

林內人山人海，筆者花了很久也拍不到一張和楓香樹的合照。

順帶一提，香港的紅葉其實並非楓樹的楓葉，而是來自楓香樹。由於兩者的樹葉外形相近，且會在秋天變成紅色，所以香港紅葉常被誤為是來自楓樹。其實，楓葉一般為掌狀五裂，而楓香樹樹葉多為三裂掌狀，香港紅葉主要是楓香樹品種。

[PS]為風景照增加雲朵/Add clouds to landscape photos

Today we are going to add some clouds to this photo.

To begin with, add a photo with clouds above the background layer.

Go to the channel layer, press "Ctrl" and left click the red channel.

You will find that most of the clouds are selected.

Go to the layer channel, click "add layer mask". (the one highlighted)

You will see something like this. 

Use the brush tool to eliminate the clouds "in the river" and those covering the mountains.

[PS]快速為風景照增加人物/Keying Out Backgrounds(with layer mask)

Today we are going to key out the backgrounds by using the layer mask.

To begin with, add the photo and move it to a suitable position.

Select the figure using Magic Wand tool or other selection tool.

Select > Modify > feather, enter the value 2 then click "ok" to make the edge look better.

Go to the layer panel and click the button “Add Layer Mask” (the one highlighted)

Finish. You can further adjust the tone and color of the layer to better fit the background. (not shown in this tutorial) 

角膜切割激光矯視術(LASIK) @養和醫院 – 手術後分享

2014 年 1月 13 日

決定做矯視手術後，我係1月13日到養和醫院登記和預約手術時間。當日主要接受眼部檢查和電腦角膜掃瞄，一共需時2-2.5 小時，其中有一部分需要使用擴瞳眼藥水，滴左之後約半個鐘後睇近野會比較模糊 (大概持續左5-6 個鐘)。

醫生(張叔銘醫生)話我角膜比正常人薄，好彩自己近視唔算深(左右眼近視約250-300度，散光約200度)。醫生判斷後，認為我適合接受呢個手術，於是我就預約左手術時間(2月13日上午10點，張醫生只在星期一或星期四上午做手術)。

當天總費用: 檢驗費(EXAMINATION FEE) $850 + 電腦角膜掃瞄 (TOPOLYZER) $350 = $1230

2014 年 2月13日

當日我7點就起左身，因為姑娘要求我當日早上9點正去到養和醫院(手術前1小時)，去醫院前最好洗左頭先(因為未來幾日唔洗得頭)，同埋去到養和要量體溫、血壓、食止痛藥、滴麻醉藥等等，之後姑娘帶左我去一個地方坐。

手術過程主要分為兩部分:

第一部分:

1.      滴眼藥水作表面麻醉。

2.      用微形切割器或激光切割器在角膜表面製造角膜瓣。

無記錯手術前一共滴左2次麻醉，製造角膜瓣前醫生會有儀器令到你眨唔倒眼，我唯一要做既就係集中精神望住光環中間既黑色部分，之後有舊野會壓一壓隻眼，唔痛，但有感覺。做完呢PART 眼入面有D氣泡，睇野朦朦地，姑娘帶我番去岩先既地方坐。

約30-45分鐘後，經姑娘檢查發現我雙眼無晒氣泡後，我就繼續接受第二部分既手術:

第二部分:

1.      將角膜瓣掀開,再利用激光於角膜基層上進行打磨。

2.      將角膜瓣回復原位。

一樣，係進行第二部分前姑娘再次為我滴麻醉藥，係網上聽倒人地話掀開角膜瓣同打激光果陣會痛…但我做果時就一D 痛既感覺都無，只係當醫生掀開角膜瓣果時我睇野會突然朦左好多, focus 唔倒，有幾次唔集中唔倒同埋睇唔倒中間既綠燈。打完激光醫生會用幫我清洗傷口，感覺涼涼地，之後佢同我講可以合埋眼，繼續做另外果隻。由掀開角膜瓣到打完激光每隻眼都係需時1分鍾左右(掀開角膜瓣約15-20秒，打磨角膜約15-20 秒，將角膜瓣回復原位和清洗傷口約20-30 秒)

做完之後出去休息左約20分鐘，醫生檢查左一下我對眼，之後姑娘幫我戴一個膠既眼罩(第二日早上先可以除)。當日我話無屋企人接我走，佢地就派人送我落去搭的士。番到屋企之後我訓左8個鐘，夜晚9點先起身，當中並無任何唔舒服，醫院比果3粒止痛藥我都無食到。

2014年2月14日

2月13號比既費用己包翌日、一週、一個月、 三個月及六個月既覆診費用，當日我照舊9點去到養和覆診，醫生檢查完我雙眼話我傷口康復得比人般人慢，叫我多D休息，之後姑娘帶左我出去，介紹尋日比我既果個藥包，入面有3支眼藥水，仲有8支好細既人工液淚。標籤寫晒幾時開始用同埋幾耐用一次，所以唔需要擔心唔知幾時用邊隻。張醫生既病人一般3星期之後先番黎，但我3月7號果日唔得閒，所以約左3月14號覆診，直接skip 左一星期果次。

藥包同藥水

 人工淚液

每2小時滴一次，開啟後12小時須棄掉。

因為要一直滴人工淚液到下一次覆診，所以當日要買多盒人工淚液。

當天總費用: 人工淚液(MEDICATION) : $120


2014年3月14日

當日按預約時間早上9點去到，姑娘幫我做左個視力測試後再去見醫生。醫生話我康復得幾好，問我眼有無成日好易乾(我無)，佢叫我黎緊呢兩個月繼續滴一隻叫 "FML" 既眼藥水(好似話用黎穩定視力)。當日10 點半就離開養和。

當天總費用: FML眼藥水(2支, 一個月用一支) : $90

2015年2月20
事隔一年，最後一次去養和做medical check for eyes, 呢次只係由視光師幫你量度散光/近視，唔使見醫生。原來自己無近視，但左、右眼各有75同50度散光(有朋友做完一段時間都有番散光)，平時睇野都仲係無問題，希望散光唔好再深:)

[PS]除去面部皺紋教學/Removing Wrinkles

Today we are going to remove the wrinkles of this beautiful lady.

In Layer window, copy the background layer by dragging the layer to the "create new layer" button (as shown below)

Press the button "Edit in Standard Mode" and change the foreground colour to black.

Choose the Brush Tool and a suitable brush size, set the opacity to 100%.

Brush the wrinkles.

After that, press the button  "Edit in Standard Mode" again and you should see something like below.

"Select" > "Inverse"

"Filter" > "Noise" > "Dust & Scratches"

Choose a set of value that looks good in preview.

It looks pretty good now. But if you want to make it looks even better, follow the steps below.

"Select" > "Save Selection"

Click "OK"

"Image" > "Calculation"

Use the setting below.

In the "Channels" window, the newly created channels should be selected, press "Ctrl + C" to copy it.

Press the "RGB" channel and go back to the "Layer" window.

Select the background layer and press "Ctrl + V" to paste the new layer.

Select the pasted layer (layer 1)and set the blending mode to "Overlay".

Hide the copied later (the layer on top) and we should see something like this.

In Layer 1,  "Image" > "Adjustments" > "Invert"

In Layer 1,  "Image" > "Adjustments" > "Levels"

Choose a set of value that looks good in preview.

Make the top layer visible. 

Finish.
